About Us: Get Skinny with Skinny Noodles and Skinny "Rice"!

Healthy Family

Want the skinny on us? We're Genki USA Inc., makers of Skinny Noodles and Skinny "Rice." In 2009, our company was established in Torrance, California, USA to provide convenient, guilt-free food products for your overall health and well-being. What does Genki (pronounced "gen-kee") mean, you ask? It's a Japanese word that translates to “enthusiastic, energetic, lively, and healthy" -- the way you'd expect to feel when living your best life.

Our mission is to find traditional, healthy foods from Japan and other Asian countries, adapt them to the modern western diet, and introduce them to Americans for easy, delicious meals the whole family can enjoy.
Healthy Woman
Foods like shirataki (konnyaku), brown rice, and tofu are cornerstones of health and have played significant roles in the overall welfare of the Japanese people for over 2,000 years. We have taken some of these time-honored foods, then added creativity and modern innovation to introduce food products that are well-balanced and pleasing to the American palate. We are proud to offer foods that are not only delicious, gluten-free, and soy-free, but also heart-healthy, weight loss and diabetic friendly. As an added bonus, all of our healthy products are made in the USA.

Here at Genki USA, we believe strongly in an old Japanese phrase that is the essence of Japanese food culture: Ishoku Dogen. Translation: “Medical treatment and daily dietary habits share the same origin.” It is a belief that one’s health and well-being are achieved by eating a balanced diet of beneficial foods every single day. Eat well, live well. Don't just get skinny, get healthy!

What They're Saying

  • Had my first bag of the low carb angel hair pasta. It was pretty darn good (even my picky, carb-loving boyfriend said it was good!)...Overall a great success and it was the perfect day for it to come in since the rest of the family had spaghetti, for once I didn't feel left out. Thanks so much! - Jody, Glenn Dale, MD
  • Unbelievable. These are delicious, and as a diabetic, I'm thrilled I can start eating loads of pasta again. Regular folks will love it too...guilt-free pasta. Wow. This stuff isn't exactly like regular pasta, but it's pretty darn close...Try it in soups, and with marinara sauce. - Robert, Hollywood, CA
